Finally a release date for YPF
Eventually there is a release date for Young People f****ing, plans a June 13 cinema release on 25-30 screens in Canada. The information is from the Cinematical website, so its been a while since we had any news on this, mainly because of a political bill, called Bill C-10 in Ottowa where all films are rigorously tested under under the Conservative leadership, this means that this film, for Martin Gero, the director and creator, is still under revisement. I would imagine the board are not really impartial to these kinds of things, the amount of film that come out each year, I doubt that they have had the time to have seen it - at this point I am still reserving my judgement even with the title as it is.
YPF had it's first showing at The Toronto Film Festival in 2007, Let's hope it can be shown over here in the UK too.
